How to renew SSM online?

If you have a computer and internet connection, you will be able to renew your SSM business in less than 10 minutes!

Step 1. Fill in your business renewal details

Head to ezBiz official website. Select how many years to renew and whether you require business info document. Please note that you will require to activate your ezBiz account before you can renew your SSM business.

Step 2. Make payment online

You can make the payment either for New Business Registration, Changes of Business Particulars, or Business Renewal by using a Credit card or FPX (Financial Process Exchange – Online banking) service on ezBiz portal.

Step 3. Print out your SSM Certificate

Upon successful transaction, your SSM Certificate and Business Info document will be available and you will be able to download it from the Renewal History tab. Print out the SSM Certificate and Business Info.

What is the cost to renew SSM online?

The SSM renewal cost depends on the type of business registered, the number of renewal years, and the number of branches. The following business renewal cost is similar to the walk-in renewal fees at the SSM office.

SSM Renewal Fees (Personal Name)

  • RM 30/year
  • Personal name is the name that is stated in your identity card.
  • Example: Ruslan bin Mohamed, Siow Ah Thai or, Ramasamy a/l Mutusamy.

SSM Renewal Fees (Trade Name)

  • RM 60/year
  • Trade Name is the name of the proposed business and must obtain prior approval from the Registrar of Business.
  • Example: Kedai Dobi Mewah, Lucky Star Catering or, ABS Unggul Enterprise.

SSM Renewal Fees for Branches

  • RM 5/year
  • Please ensure to select the number of branches that are registered under your business.
  • An additional RM5 per year is required for each branch of your registered business.

SSM Certificate Fees (Softcopy)

  • No charge, it is included in the renewal fees.
  • Please make sure you select “Yes” if you wish to download the Business Info. Additional RM10 will be charged.
  • SSM Certificate and Business Info are only available for download within 14 days after application approve/success.
